Is this cinnamon raisin overnight oats breakfast good4you?
Oatmeal is nutritionally rich, contains more protein than most other grains, and is loaded with antioxidants and soluble fibre. It may help to lower your cholesterol, blood pressure and control your weight. Fibre is also excellent for helping you maintain a healthy colon.
What are antioxidants?
Outside influences such as pollution, smoking or infection can cause damage to cells in your body. Antioxidants may help prevent or slow down the damage that can happen. Though the body’s cells naturally produce antioxidants, your diet helps produce more as well, boosting the levels needed to keep your immune system strong.
