Crispy Apple Chips

These crispy apple chips have the crunch you may crave while watching your favourite tv show or movie. Many people find that potato chips or popcorn will satisfy the snack craving, but all you get is a lot of fat and salt that won’t leave you feeling full. Your gut won’t thank you over time and the pounds will add up. Why not try a snack that mimics chips but has the goodness of fruit?

Are these crispy apple chips good4you?

Apples are high in fibre and are a good source of Vitamin C as well as antioxidants such as Vitamin E.  They are low in calories and contribute to good gut health. This fruit has always been promoted as one that will benefit your overall health. Remember, an apple a day keeps the doctor away? There really is some truth to this. These thinly sliced apples are dusted with cinnamon & baked (not fried) until golden & crispy. The perfect snack for any occasion. Don’t’ forget to make enough to have on hand. Store in an air-tight container for up to 4 days.
