Nutritious Protein Smoothie

This nutritious protein smoothie recipe is an excellent addition to a healthy breakfast. When included in your diet, it will help you feel fuller after your meal and may help eliminate snacking before your next meal.

Beginning your day with a healthy protein enriched breakfast is essential.  Many people consume a breakfast with eggs etc, but if time is limited to prepare a full meal, perhaps adding a protein smoothie is a great alternative.

1c. almond milk (or rice milk)

3 tsp. peanut butter

1 small banana

1 scoop G4Y Protein Powder (chocolate or vanilla)

honey or maple syrup to taste

1 tsp cocoa powder (opt)

Place the almond milk, peanut butter and banana in a blender, and pulse so the mixture is smooth. Add the protein powder and pulse once again until combined. Mix in either honey or maple syrup. Pour into large glass and garnish with cocoa powder. Enjoy this nutritious protein smoothie for breakfast or a snack!
