Why is this Thieves Oil Hand Sanitizer so good?
Conventional hand sanitizers contain alcohol. This recipe contains zero alcohol. Essential oils (EO) are used instead. These oils have antiviral, antibacterial and antiseptic properties. The base of this recipe is made with aloe vera gel which is easily absorbed into the skin, leaving your hands feeling moisturized. The essential oils used are from the classic “thieves oil blend“. This blend provides a pleasing aroma while helping to heal and protect from the dryness you might experience during the cold, dry winter months. Using it regularly throughout the day may help prevent those nasty sore cracked hands and fingers. And when the cold air arrives, make sure to wear your gloves outside to protect the skin you’ve worked to protect with this hand sanitizer.
Ingredients:
*EO = essential oils
- 30 ml aloe vera gel
- 5 drops cinnamon EO
- 5 drops lemon EO
- 5 drops eucalyptus EO
- 3 drops rosemary EO
- 2 drops clove EO
- 2 drops vitamin E
Instructions:
- Combine aloe vera gel, essential oils and vitamin E in a bowl and mix.
- Add contents to a 30ml bottle with lid. You can reuse an old hand sanitizer bottle if you’d like.
- Use at your own discretion.
